How to connect to AES128 VPN on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android
Updated September 26, 2026. On a computer, use AES128 VPN or Throne. For iPhone and iPad, we recommend Incy or Happ; for Android, Happ. Here is how to get started on each platform.
Choose your app
- Windows: AES128 VPN or Throne.
- macOS: AES128 VPN for Apple Silicon. Check the download page for current requirements. For other Mac configurations, consider Throne after checking its release requirements.
- Linux: follow the AES128 VPN installation guide, or use Throne.
- iPhone and iPad: Incy on the App Store or Happ.
- Android: Happ on Google Play. Other official downloads are available on the Happ website.
For Happ on iOS, choose the App Store link for your region on its official website. Menu names may vary by app version and language.
Our AES128 VPN app
Start with our desktop app if you use AES128 on a computer. A dedicated macOS build is now available, so you do not need to substitute a mobile client.
- Open the download page for your operating system and follow its installation instructions.
- Launch AES128 VPN and sign in to your account.
- Choose an available location and connect.
- Check that the websites you need load. If the connection fails, try another available location and check service status.
Download pages carry current versions and requirements. In particular, our current Mac build is designed for Apple M-series processors.
Get a configuration for another client
Throne, Incy and Happ are connection apps. To use them with AES128, you need your personal configuration.
- Sign in and open the VPN section of your account.
- Select a device or add a new one. Use a separate device entry for each phone or computer.
- Choose a location and a protocol supported by your client. VLESS REALITY is one option to try first; use another available option if it does not work on your network.
- Generate the configuration and copy the complete link.
A link beginning with vless://… represents a single profile. A subscription URL, if you have one, usually starts with https:// and can provide profile updates. These are different import methods. Your account page address is not a configuration link.
Keep your configuration link and QR code private. They contain access credentials. If you share them accidentally, revoke that device in your account and generate a replacement configuration.
Throne on Windows and Linux
Throne replaces our previous NekoRay recommendation in this guide. Download it from the official repository.
- Copy your configuration and choose Program → Add profile from clipboard in Throne, or press Ctrl+V.
- For a subscription URL, choose a new subscription group so that it can receive updates.
- Select the profile and press Start.
- Choose System Proxy for apps that follow system proxy settings, or Tun Mode to capture traffic through a virtual network adapter. TUN may request elevated permissions.
You do not need to enable every switch. See the Throne quick start guide for details.
iPhone and iPad: Incy or Happ
Install Incy or Happ. Incy supports importing links and subscriptions, as described in its developer listing.
- Copy your configuration from your AES128 account.
- Open the app's add-profile function. Choose clipboard import or its URL field, depending on the interface available.
- Select the imported profile and connect.
- On first connection, approve the iOS request to add a VPN configuration for the client you installed.
Android: Happ
Install Happ using the link above. Import your configuration from the clipboard or its URL, select the profile and connect. Approve Android's VPN connection request on first use. Official download links and documentation are available from the Happ developer.
If you cannot connect
Check that you copied the full configuration, that the device remains active and that your app is up to date. Try another location and check service status. For help, contact us with your device, app version and error message. Do not post passwords, configuration links or QR codes in a public chat.
